Touch menus are configurable menus of items on the pos that are brought up on the touch screen by striking a key on the register keyboard

Touch Menus managed by HQ are treated as core items and cannot be changed at site level.

Touch Menus created at the local level are called site use keys and can be edited. A total of 6 Site Use Menu keys are available at store level with a maximum of 16 keys per menu.

These menus will be labeled Site use 1-6

To view touch menus or update Site Use keys click on Pricebook and then click the touch menu link

The Touch Menu window will open to display all existing touch menus

Click once on any row to view as needed. Because this is a core menu, it is identified as Read only in the upper right hand corner of the page.

You can't change the keys, however you can print barcodes from this page and change the retail price of an item from this page.

To print barcodes or change retails for these items, click the blue button in the bottom right hand corner of the page

A pricebook window will diplay for the items on the selected touch menu

Click the action button and select Batch Edit Retail to adjust retail pricing for these items OR click barcode print to print the barcodes for this menu. Then Click the back arrow to return to the menu key

You can also right click on an item in the menu to change the retail price

When finished, Click the Listing button to return to the Touch Menu listing window

To edit a site use Menu, click once on any of the 6 available site use keys, for example: Site use 1

The menu key will open. You can adjust stations as needed by using the store selection dropdown.

To add items to the menu simply begin typing the item number or description in the field next to the desired key position.

If you need to delete an item simply remove it from the field by using the backspace on your keyboard

When done editing the menu click the save button.

Then click the listing button to return to the Touch Menu Listing
